July’s music rollout continues to be incredible with the release of four new projects, coming from Charlie Heat, Waka Flocka Flame, Scallops Hotel and Rome Fortune.
Charlie Heat – Till August

The in-house GOOD Music producer responsible for making “Facts” listenable, Charlie Heat follows up Till June (which featured his menacing “Panda” remix) with Till August, a five-song remix EP of songs by Rich Chigga, Gucci Mane, Crime Mob, Petey Pablo, and Soulja Boy. Heat’s known for his grandiose production and booming drum work, which has recently been featured on songs by Lil Uzi Vert, Carnage, and Yung Jake.
Rome Fortune – Worldvvide Pimpsation

The Atlanta rapper’s followup to his debut album, Jerome Raheem Fortune, which dropped earlier this year, Worldvvide Pimpsation was released today with little notice on Datpiff. The tape, which features Nessly, ILoveMakonnen, Wara From the NBHD, and Nevabitch, also features production from DJ Spinz, Toro y Moi, and Ethereal (of Awful Records).
Scallops Hotel – Too Much of Life is Mood (digital release)

Too Much of Life is Mood is Hellfyre Club member Milo’s third release under the Scallops Hotel moniker. The followup to last year’s excellent So the Flies Don’t Come was originally put out as a cassette-only release (available here) back in March, but now is also available for digital purchase off of Milo’s bandcamp. While most of Milo’s albums feature fellow Hellfyre members such as Busdriver and Open Mike Eagle, this release is almost entirely all Milo (except for one feature from Signor Benedick the Moor).
Waka Flocka Flame – Lebron Flocka James Pt. 4

The first of two proposed Waka mixtapes coming this month (the other being Flock Curry (DuFlockaRant Edition)), Lebron Flocka James Pt. 4 is the fourth installment in a series that started in 2009. Included on the 15-track album are Waka’s lauded remixes of Kanye’s “Real Friends” (which recently received the video treatment) and Drake’s “Hype”.
